The Stress-Busting Program (SBP) for Family Caregivers™ Week 7-Positive Thinking
Week 7- Positive Thinking session covers changing the way one can think (cognitive restructuring) and how to view situations in a more positive framework. Twisted thinking is also discussed.

Target Audience
Unpaid and Partially Paid Family/Natural Caregivers.
Practice Level: Beginner and/or Intermediate.
Learning Objectives
- Participants will review and discuss the self-reflection on positive aspects of stressors and caregiving.
- Participants will discuss ways to change thoughts from negative to positive.
- Participants will identify 10 kinds of twisted thinking.
- Participants will discuss ways to untwist their twisted thinking.
- Participants will use the ABC model for analyzing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
- Participants will practice journaling as a stress management technique.
