TEST_Dana _Perinatal Mental Health Disorders
This is a live, instructor-led training scheduled for February 13, 2025 from 9AM- 11AM Central. The attendee must access the Zoom room no more than 15 minutes prior to the start of the training and connect audio via their device or call the conference number. Attendee must be in the room individually, be able to access audio, attend the entire training, complete a post test and evaluation in order to receive credit and access their certificate.

This training advances or enhances the education of the audience by defining perinatal mental health disorders (PMHDs) and listing the different forms of PMHDs that new mothers can experience. Birth trauma and paternal postpartum depression are also discussed.

Target Audience
Licensed and unlicensed Behavioral Health, Physical Health, and Addiction Healthcare professionals. Topic level is beginner to intermediate.
Learning Objectives
1. List 4 different types of perinatal mental health disorders (PMHDs)
2. Define birth trauma and how it can lead to postpartum PTSD
3. List 2 screening tools that can be used to screen for PMHDs
4. Discuss 3 treatment considerations for PMHDs
5. Identify at least 2 cultural influences on PMHDs
