STAR Kids Overview
This training provides an overview of the STAR Kids program, a Texas Medicaid managed care initiative designed to support children and young adults with disabilities, special needs, or chronic conditions. Participants will learn about the program's key features, eligibility criteria, and the various resources and services available, including service coordination, dental services, and transition support. The training aims to equip attendees with the knowledge needed to navigate and utilize the STAR Kids program effectively to enhance the health and well-being of its members.

Parents and Caregivers.

- Identify resources such as the member portal and Texas Health Steps.
- Outline the service coordination process and Screening Assessment Instrument. This is often referred to as SAI.
