
TEST - TONY - Behavior Management 102 The Process
This is a live, instructor-led training scheduled for (FULL DATE) from ( TIME) Central. The attendee must access the Zoom room no more than 15 minutes prior to the start of the training and connect audio via their device or call the conference number. Attendees must be in the room individually, be able to access audio, attend the entire training, complete a post test and evaluation in order to receive credit and access their certificate.

Description
Behavior management theory believes improved understanding of human behavior leads to better treatment & care plans. Attendees learn theory analysis & strategies, prevention & intervention, & managing behavior types of adults served in LTSS.
Pre-requisites
Behavior Management 101 is encouraged prior to attending this training.
Target Audience
While this training is geared towards those that work in nursing home settings, many of these skills may be useful for other settings and populations that experience challenging behaviors.
Learning Objectives
- Define behavior management.
- State the 4 steps of the behavior management process.
- Identify 3 communication tips.
- List 3 ways to promote independence.
