Mary EthosCE Learning Journey
The EthosCE Learning Journey is a guided onboarding experience for Behavioral Health trainers who are new to the EthosCE platform. Through hands‑on practice, demo videos, and facilitated meetings, trainers will learn how to navigate EthosCE, build and manage CE‑eligible courses, add required course objects, and support live Zoom‑based trainings using established workflows and standards.
Target Audience
This training is intended for Behavioral Health (BH) Learning & Development trainers who are new to the EthosCE Learning Management System, including those supporting CPT, FCCW, LTSS, and STAR Kids programs.
Learning Objectives
1- Cloning a Topic Template Course in the Test Site
The training will cover:
- Navigate to the Test Site to sign in, locate topic templates, and required workflow components.
- Clone a topic template course accurately using the EthosCE Course Workflow steps, ensuring naming conventions and program requirements are followed.
2- Menu Bar Overview and Adding Course Objects
The training will cover:
- Provide a high-level overview of View, Edit, Enrollments, Financials, Reminders, and Revisions (Course Reports will be addressed at a later date).
- Refresh how to log into the EthosCE test site and clone a topic template.
- Demonstrate how to navigate to the Course Outline and verify course objects (e.g., PDF training materials, handouts).
- Demonstrate how to pull previously created quiz questions into a quiz object
3- Refresh core Ethos CE skills and Adding a Zoom Object
The training will cover:
- Review core EthosCE skills, including cloning topic templates, navigating courses, adding course objects, and managing quiz questions.
- Describe current updates related to the EthosCE Production site and available Topic Templates.
- Navigate to the EthosCE Production site to sign in, locate topic templates, and explain the importance of keeping courses in a non‑published status.
- Demonstrate how to add a Zoom object to the Course Outline of a cloned course.
4- Launching a Zoom Training and Enrollments Report
The training will cover:
- Review course reminders in the course and add object links from course outline to reminders.
- Confirm course enrollment accuracy by reviewing and validating enrollees within EthosCE.
- Schedule and launch a live instructor‑led Zoom session within EthosCE, including assigning alternative hosts and verifying webinar details.
- Configure Zoom account settings according to established standards to support secure and effective instruction during live instructor-led training.
5- Quality Checklist
The training will cover:
- Describe the purpose and importance of quality checking and verification within the EthosCE LMS.
- Identify common course setup errors that can impact learner experience, tracking, or completion.
- Apply a standardized quality checklist to review course content, settings, and course objects in EthosCE.
- Verify course accuracy and functionality from a learner’s perspective prior to publication.
- Determine when a course is ready to be published or requires revisions before learner access is enabled.
6- Handouts for Training object, Bookmark courses, Adding Scheduled Course to Outlook Calendar, EthosCE Course Calendar, Marketing Course with a URL link, and Certificate Mapping
The training will cover:
- Review the process of adding documents and links to the Handouts for Training object.
- Learn how to bookmark and unbookmark courses for easy access later.
- Demonstrate adding a scheduled course to your Outlook calendar.
- Navigate the EthosCE course calendar.
- Explain the appropriate use of the course URL.
- Understand how certificate mapping works and when to contact an Ethos Admin for support.
7- Trainer Coverage, Reminder update, Enrollment Reports, Zoom Attendee Report, and Course Reports
The training will cover:
- Understand the trainer coverage update process in EthosCE and Outlook for planned or emergency situations.
- Identify where to update reminder email subject lines and explain how the course title node populates in learner reminders.
- Generate and export an Enrollment report in EthosCE to view enrolled learners and retrieve key profile fields.
- Locate and download a Zoom Attendee Report using Zoom SSO, webinar history filters, and the detailed report download queue.
- Describe what information is provided in Course Reports (Course Report and Evaluation Analysis) and how to use the results to confirm learner progress/completion.

- Attend at least 1 live instructor‑led training (April 6, 7, or 8)
- Navigate all course components and download certificates
April 9–13- Erin & Kim
Ethos Learning 1: Cloning a Topic Template (Test Site)
Time: 4–5 hours
- Log into EthosCE Test Site
- Locate and clone an approved CE topic template
- Follow workflow steps and naming conventions
- Course remains unpublished
- Receive SCD feedback

Ethos Learning 2: Menu Bar & Course Objects (Test Site)
Time: 3–4 hours
- Review core menu functions
- Verify existing PDFs and handouts
- Add key course objects (Quiz, Zoom)

Ethos Learning 3: Production Site & Zoom Object
Time: 3–4 hours
- Log into EthosCE Production Site
- Clone a topic template (unpublished)
- Add and verify Quiz and Zoom objects
- Review Production site standards and updates
April 20–23- Rachael & Kim
Ethos Learning 4: Launching Zoom & Enrollments
Time: 3–4 hours
- Schedule and configure a Zoom training within EthosCE
- Validate enrollments and reminders
- Assign alternate host and attendee
- Launch live Zoom session (~10 minutes)
