Applying TBI Concepts for Person Centered Support (September 17, 2026)

Activity Description

As a continuation of the PHCO Brain Injury Program, learners will be able to identify specialty populations affected by Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), including those with substance use issues, children, diverse cultural backgrounds, gender and sexuality considerations, aging individuals, and military personnel. They will understand the challenges and needs of individuals with TBI, recognize the importance of care management in recovery, identify tailored support services for both individuals with TBI and their caregivers, and apply knowledge through case studies to explore real-world scenarios and effective strategies in TBI care management.

REQUIREMENT: This session is part of the PHCO Brain Injury Program. In order to attend, learners must be registered in the PHCO Brain Injury Program in Centene University, attend the requisite eLearning modules that precede this learning, and have attended the course "Understanding TBI: Building a Foundation for Support and Recovery".
