Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

Attendees learn the symptoms, probable causes and treatments for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD); the similarities of ADHD symptoms to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); and the risks of misdiagnosis.

Target Audience

Foster Care and Child Welfare professionals and stakeholders. Unlicensed and licensed behavioral health professionals including but not limited to, social workers, graduate-level counselors, therapists, and substance use professionals. Unlicensed and licensed health care professionals including, but not limited to, nurses.

Foster Parents, Kinship Parents, and Caregivers.

Practice Level: Beginner and/or Intermediate.
