Childhood Trauma and ADHD
This training offers insight into several important symptomatic and diagnostic issues related to both childhood trauma and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). An emphasis on trauma-related experiences and therapeutic interventions is provided.

Target Audience
Foster Care and Child Welfare professionals and stakeholders. Unlicensed and licensed behavioral health professionals including but not limited to, social workers, graduate-level counselors, therapists, and substance use professionals. Unlicensed and licensed health care professionals including, but not limited to, nurses.
Foster Parents, Kinship Caregivers, and Caregivers.
Practice Level: Beginner and/or Intermediate.

- Define 3 types of trauma, the effects of trauma exposure on children and adolescents, and discuss related assessments and treatment.
