Coping with Holiday Stress for Children and Youth in Care
Holidays are a stressful and busy time. For children/adolescents in care, the holidays can be especially difficult. Many experience mixed feelings of guilt, shame and sadness during the holidays. Understanding how hard the holidays may be for children/adolescents in care can help parents support them and let them know they are cared for. This training will look at some ways to help these children/adolescents cope during the holiday season.
