Ethics Experienced: Case Studies for Mental Health
This course provides research on common ethical challenges for mental health professionals and reviews the benefits of ethical decision-making models. Participants will practice applying ethical decision-making steps to case studies. Case studies include legal cases which allow learners to experience the real outcomes of the decisions other professionals have made. Use of ethical principles and virtues-based decision-making is explained with emphasis how challenges personal beliefs which may create ethical conflicts in professional settings.

Target Audience
Unlicensed and licensed behavioral health professionals including, but not limited to, social workers, graduate-level counselors, therapists, and substance use professionals. Unlicensed and licensed health care professionals including, but not limited to, nurses.
Practice Level: Beginner and/or Intermediate.
