Foster Care & Special Populations: The Critical Role of the Healthcare Team
Activity Description
The objective of this course is to highlight the unique clinical care needs of children and youth who have experienced foster care at some point in time. Opportunities for the healthcare team to support children and youth in foster care will be analyzed to improve quality of care and health outcomes.

In accordance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education's (ACCME) Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education, Centene Institute for Advanced Health Education (Centene Institute) requires all those in control of educational content to disclose their financial relationships with ineligible companies within the prior 24 months. Ineligible companies are defined by the ACCME as companies whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling or distributing health care products used by or on patients. Centene Institute ensures that the content is independent of commercial bias.
