Helping Kids Cope with Bullying and Preventing Bullying Behavior

This training reviews relevant statistics and techniques to help children cope with and prevent bullying. Participants also review healthy boundary setting, relationship warning signs and tips to facilitate conversations with youth.

Target Audience

Foster Care and Child Welfare professionals and stakeholders. Unlicensed and licensed behavioral health professionals including but not limited to, social workers, graduate-level counselors, therapists, and substance use professionals. Unlicensed and licensed health care professionals including, but not limited to, nurses.

Foster Parents, Kinship Parents, and Caregivers.

Practice Level: Beginner and/or Intermediate.

  • Understand setting healthy boundaries.
  • Identify characteristics of healthy vs. unhealthy relationships.
  • Identify relationship warning signs.
  • Verbalize ways of starting a conversation.
