Hospice and Palliative Care
This training will provide attendees with an overview about Hospice and Palliative Care and the services and settings included in these types of care. This training will also review the hospice interdisciplinary team and their responsibilities in the provision services to support consumers who need this level of care to maintain their quality of life and comfort. Lastly, this training will also review how Hospice and Palliative Care are similar and how they differ in terms of services provided and the goals of care.

Target Audience
Unlicensed and licensed LTSS professionals and stakeholders including, but not limited to, direct care workers, administrators, facility staff, home health staff, nursing aides. Unlicensed and licensed behavioral health professionals including, but not limited to, social workers, graduate-level counselors, therapists, and substance use professionals. Unlicensed and licensed health care professionals including, but not limited to, nurses.
Practice Level: Beginner and/or Intermediate.
