Activity Description

This course explores evidence-based strategies to improve outcomes in substance use treatment by bridging primary and behavioral health care. Participants will learn to assess substance use needs using validated screening tools, coordinate integrated care for comorbid conditions, and implement effective communication techniques to reduce stigma and promote engagement. The course also covers evaluating behavioral health performance through key quality measures, including HEDIS ASF, FUA, FUI, IET, and POD, to ensure accountability and continuous improvement in care delivery.
