Long Term Services and Supports: Overview

This training will give those who work in Long Term Services & Supports (LTSS), including direct care workers, a high-level overview of LTSS . This overview will include discussing which populations may receive LTSS, care and services that may be included, and settings in which LTSS is delivered. The training will also provide a general summary of the definition, purpose, and services of Medicaid waiver programs and will also review the role of case management in LTSS.

Target Audience

Unlicensed and licensed LTSS professionals and stakeholders including, but not limited to, direct care workers, administrators, facility staff, home health staff, nursing aides. Unlicensed and licensed behavioral health professionals including, but not limited to, social workers, graduate-level counselors, therapists, and substance use professionals. Unlicensed and licensed health care professionals including, but not limited to, nurses.

Practice Level: Beginner and/or Intermediate.
