Learning Objectives

  1. Explain the core concepts and values of Person-Centered Thinking and their role in supporting individuals in care management.
  2. Recognize the importance of balancing what is important to and for individuals to support safe, respectful, and meaningful outcomes.
  3. Apply person-centered approaches to promote positive control, build supportive relationships, and respond effectively to individual needs and preferences.
  4. Demonstrate how to incorporate person-centered thinking into daily interactions and care planning to provide consistent, strengths-based support.
